image the excitement of the unexpected:
As a traveler it's understood there is always an inherent risk in traveling to the unknown. Our number one concern is always safety and security and over the years we've never experienced any accidents or incidents of misfortune, due to our exceptional respect and knowledge of local customs.
First and foremost this is an adventure tour to enrich your soul and to experience an earthly way of life and travel.

image transportation:
image EW has a variety of 4wd trucks and backup vehicles that are essential for exploring the more remote areas of the baja peninsula in relative comfort and for transporting the required amount of food and equipment for the trip. The trucks are customized to our specifications through our many years of travelling in the region to withstand the demanding offroad conditions. Built for baja!

image equipment:
-camping: All camping and first aid equipment will be provided by EW's, including a brand new sleeping bag which is yours to keep at the end of the trip. This takes all the hassle of thinking about what you will need and transporting it great distances by plane out of your hands. We know what you will need and we will bring it! image
image -surfboards: on average a standard 6~6'4 should do the trick, depending on the ability of the surfer. It may be wise to bring a longer board for the bigger days and maybe a longboard or a fish would work for the smaller days. Of course bodyboarders are also welcome!
-wetsuit: A 2/2 or 3/2 fullsuit would be sufficient and maybe a pair of booties for rock dancing. A long sleeve spring or short sleeve full suit would be good for the warmer days.
***of course, a couple of leashes and lots of wax!

image image food: We will supply three nutritious meals a day, including snacks, fruits, water and beverages (sodas, fruit juices, beer, wine). Other spirits can be supplied as an option. All food will be purchased in the U.S. to ensure quality and prepared by our cook. We can also cater to vegetarians upon request.
image leaving it all behind: We will be leaving all intrusions of the "civilized" world behind. Ringing phones, bleeping PCs, angry taxi drivers, car horns honking, TVs hissing. Forget about all the noise that accompanies our daily lives. Out there the ambience is courtesy of mother nature.
image shower: For bathing, a solar powered enclosed shower will be on site.

image toilet: Despite the fact that we will be traveling in remote areas, a portable toilet in a single tent will be available.

image weather:
image The weather in the summer months between June and October is dry and warm during the day with the evenings becoming cooler. Expect on average (28+c /80+f) degrees during the day and (11c /50f) degrees at night. The water temp is around (17c /60f) degrees.

image what to expect(warnings):
image Please be advised that we will be traveling to some remote destinations and there will be some travel time involved in semi-rough, dry, dusty conditions. Also, we are dealing with mother nature and that we cannot make any guarantees regarding the weather or sea conditions.

image health: Any person of average fitness can make this trip. If there are any concerns, feel free to consult us. If you are on medication, please ensure you bring enough to last the trip.
